Overview of the News extension

The TYPO3 News extension enables you to easily add articles to your website. If your site has this feature, the News extension will be set up by the Web Development team for you, and any configuration changes will need to be requested for them to make those amendments.

In your site page structure, you will have a News page. There will be a sub-page underneath that page and a folder. The main area you'll be in is the folder.

Please note: This guide is specific for TYPO3 version 11. If your site is still using TYPO3 version 9, watch our video guide to learn how to add, update and delete news items.

Working with News articles

When working with News articles, you will need to click on the folder underneath the News page and switch to List view.
