Retrieve a deleted content element using the Recycler

If you have accidently deleted a content element from a page, you can recover it through the Recycler. Once in Recycler view, click the either the root page of your site or the page of which the content element was deleted from.

You can use the Depth and Type dropdown menus to filter what is shown.

Prior to recovering a content element, you can see when that content element was created, the page path, the owner of the content element and who deleted the content element by clicking the 'i' icon.

Tick the content element(s) you want to recover. Click any of the 3 recover icons to restore the deleted content element(s).

A pop-up box will appear asking if you want to also recover content and subpages. We recommend ticking this to ensure everything is pulled back in during the recovery process.

The recovered content element(s) will appear back on the page they were deleted from. Remember to go back into Page view to continue editing your site.
