Using TYPO3's Filelist

Filelist Performance

The number of files stored within a site can impact performance. It's recommended to keep the number of files within each folder as low as possible. Where possible, aim to keep folders below 150 files.

It's also good practice to regularly review and remove old or unused files and images that are no longer required.

Please note: Files and images that are referenced on a page cannot be deleted directly from the Filelist. You must first remove the reference from the content element, then delete the file from the Filelist.
